On May 20, 2023, we will begin an eBanking enhancement. Once the enhancement is complete you’ll be able to access Ardent accounts you have ownership on with one login (username and password). This way, you can better manage your entire relationship with us – a frequent request from members.
This upgrade offers a wholistic view of your entire relationship with Ardent with just one eBanking login. Any account upon which you are primary, joint or other authorized ownership type will display when you log in. So, after the upgrade, you may see more accounts than expected.
For example, Mary Member uses an eBanking login tied to member number 12345 to access her accounts. However, she is also on three additional accounts with various members of her family. After the upgrade, using the same login tied to member number 12345, Mary now sees those additional accounts as well because of her joint ownership or co-borrower status on them. Mary now sees her complete relationship with Ardent under a single eBanking login.
For most members, no action is required.
This update will take place starting May 20, 2023. During the update, eBanking will be unavailable. This outage may last through the weekend. We will notify you before the update takes place and when eBanking is live again.
If you have questions about this enhancement or need assistance during the scheduled eBanking outage, please contact us. During the weekend of the enhancement, Member Xperience Advocates will be available:
I share a login with someone. How do I make sure they can still access our accounts in eBanking?
Although not recommended, you may continue to share your login with that person.
If that person is a joint owner or co-borrower on those accounts, they can create their own username and password by enrolling in eBanking for free as a new user. They will automatically see accounts for which they have ownership.
Contact us if you need to change ownership on any accounts.
ENROLL IN EBANKING LOGIN TO EBANKING
Make the most of the update by personalizing your eBanking before and after the update:
EXAMPLE: Your primary checking account could be “My Checking,” and you change the account you share with your spouse to “Household Checking.”
After the update, you will be able to use your eBanking login to view any associated accounts for which you are a:
You have the option to hide an account from appearing under My Accounts on your main eBanking dashboard. The account will still be viewable under the “Hidden” group when you select the Sort Order/Nicknames tab in Settings. Hiding does not change statement delivery or change of address.
To hide an account from view:
To create a group:
To add accounts to a group:
To expand or minimize a group in your eBanking dashboard:
To change the order of how groups appear in your eBanking dashboard:
If an account is missing from your eBanking view and you are one of the following select ownership types on the account, please contact us.
If you are seeing an account for which you are not one of the select ownership on the account, please contact us.
Ardent recommends never sharing passwords for security purposes.
If you don’t want a co-owner of one membership to see your other accounts from another membership, simply change your password prior to the upgrade.
The joint owner can enroll in eBanking to create their own login for free and automatically access only accounts for which they’re a primary, joint or other authorized ownership type.
You will only be able to access member statements and tax forms for which you are the primary on the account. If you are joint on other accounts, you will need the primary member on those accounts to log in and print the relevant statement or tax form.
If you use only one eBanking login, there will be no change.
If you had Bill Pay set up under more than one eBanking logins, you will need to access eBanking using the login you used to set up a Bill Pay to view it. Your payees will not be aggregated under one login.
To make managing multiple bill payments easier, you may want to choose one primary eBanking login and manually add all Bill Pays you had previously set up under other logins to that login and remove them from those logins. Once that is done, you can manage all your bill payments across multiple accounts using one eBanking login.
We recommend that you assign a nickname to each linked account after it has been added to help you distinguish between them. See FAQ on how to nickname an account.
If your Ardent accounts are disconnected from Mint or Quicken, reconnecting is a simple fix. Learn how below.
